Today is Thanksgiving, and if you are anything like me, the last thing you want is an email in your inbox. So today’s Substack will be brief.
Thank you.
I am thankful for all each of you do to advance mental health in your own way.
For me, today is about family, food, and fellowship. A time for me to be with family and friends I haven’t seen in a while, and a time to celebrate what I am thankful for. Every year at Thanksgiving, I make a mental list of things and people I am thankful for. I send notes, texts, and give hugs. It’s just one small way to show my gratitude.
To each of you, thank you for joining me on this journey! We have amassed a pretty large and engaged community here - thank you for keep showing up!
So today, don’t fall victim to the Thanksgiving trap of only thinking today is about showing those in your life what you are thankful for. Make it a routine part of your life. It’s good for those around you and good for your own mental health.
See you next week!
Thank you Ben for your friendship & support. Rick
